Skinning Guide 300-330
Hellfire Peninsula: You can kill and skin just about anything here. When you are starting out it is a good idea to stay close to town because there is a chance that others are questing there and you may be lucky to find some free ones. As you move on, it’s rather nice to skin the ravagers over by the Ruins of Shanaar.Skinning Guide 330-350
Nagrand: This place is great for pwning beasts! Just west of the upper lake, ‘Throne of the Elements’ has many, many talbuks that are yellow and highly concentrated.Skinning Guide 350-400
Borean Tundra: Welcome to the Wrath of the Lich King! Borean Tundra is great to start out in.There is a ton of cash to be made here because Leatherworking requires so much borean leather it is crazy. The mammoths and rhinos around Warsong Hold are easy and there aren’t many things that will get in your way here because they are all yellow. Keep the meat for Rhino Dogs and Mammoth Meal!

Sholazar Basin is a rather nice place to Skin. The only thing that’s not so nice is there are many things that will attack you hidden in thick undergrowth. If you are lower level stick to the far west side of the map or the far east. The gorillas are yellow and drop the highest mass quantities of Chilled Meat if you are interested in Cooking.Skinning Guide 450-525
Vash’Ir: Lets get your feet wet and only go here if you have your Abyssal Seahorse mount.Skinning Guide 485-525
Twilight Highlands: This place is not really friendly and the concentrations are pretty weak just to add some bit of difficulty. It is not really too bad though. Many Miners and Herbalists find the upper portion heavy with ore and herbs so they could help out a bit by leaving some free Skins; for this reason, start up north.
